This work is a video portrait on my neighborhood in New York City. Locates in Queens, Jackson Heights is a special area with extraordinary variety. Weaving with several main subway lines, it is actually a tiny representation of New York metropolis. The area consists of residents from different countries and areas in the world, including Middle and South America (Columbia, Mexico), South Asia (India, Pakistan, Nepal and Tibet), East Asia (Korea, Philippines, China), etc. The juxtaposition of various cultures reflects on the streets. Running through the region 24/7, The 7 Train offers the convenience for the residents. It also brings vitality and creates uncanny urban landscape for the neighborhood.
